Datatel / Colleague

Looking for an experienced developer or administrator using Datatel Colleague, Unidata database, Unibasic or Envision Basic.

Instructional Technologist

Assists faculty in the use of current and new technologies for instructional purposes to support and improve student learning. Reports to the Director of Academic Technology.

Typical duties:

Assist faculty and staff in the most effective use of technologies to support learning.

Staff the Teaching Learning and TechnologyCenter

Assist faculty with course evolution and enhancement using instructional technologies.

Provide development assistance with web sites created to support learning with technologies.

Assist in the training in the use of academic technology for the faculty and support staff.

 

Skills needed:

Knowledge of Bb and/or Educator course management system.

Knowledge of computer and information technologies used in student e-learning.

Skills in both verbal and written communication.

Ability to work as a team player in a multicultural diverse working environment

 

1. 2 or more years current experience in instructional technology. (Higher education experience preferred.)

2. Bachelors

3. Blackboard and Educator are two internet-based online 'course management systems'. We prefer that they be familiar with one, the other, or both HOWEVER, we would be satisfied with experience with ANY CMS (WebCt, Angel, Sakai, etc.)
